Dr. Carver is a Professor of Accounting and Dean Emeritus of the College of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Dr. Carver is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of CPAs, the American Accounting Association and Decision Sciences.
Mr. Edwards is Vice President of Lima Bancshares in Quincy, Illinois. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Independent Bankers' Bank, East Dubuque Savings Bank and Wemple State Bank. Mr. Edwards is a past president of the Community Bankers Association.
Mr. Hahn is the owner of Building Maintenance Services, Springfield, Illinois, and is part owner of the Northfield Inn & Suites Conference Center and Ramada Limited, also located in Springfield. Mr. Hahn spent many years as an executive in the Farm Credit System where he served as President of the Land Bank Association of Springfield-Lincoln, Illinois.
Mr. Margherio is a State Farm Insurance agent in Troy, Illinois, a business he has owned and operated since 1972. Mr. Margherio is a past president of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and the Land of Goshen Kiwanis. He served on the Board of Mercantile Bank of Illinois for twelve years.
Mr. Solon is the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Partners Bank. He has 29 years of business and banking experience, including 15 years in a CEO capacity. Mr. Solon served as CEO of the Bank of Alton from December 1992 until March 1997, when it was acquired by Mercantile Bancorporation, Inc. of St. Louis. Subsequently, Mr. Solon became Regional President, Madison County, Illinois, for Mercantile Bank. Solon has extensive experience in directing executive-level initiatives and daily banking operations.
Mr. Speciale is President and Chief Executive Officer of Beall Manufacturing, Inc., East Alton, Illinois, where he has been employed for 31 years. Mr. Speciale purchased Beall Manufacturing in 1984, after serving as the company controller for a number of years.
Mr. Van Patten is President of Syn Loop Corporation, LLC, in Glen Carbon, Illinois. He recently served as President of IMC Agribusiness, Inc. and Senior Vice President of IMC Global, Inc., Northbrook, Illinois, until the sale of IMC Agribusiness in May of 1999.
Mr. Winney retired as the Treasurer of Ralston Purina Co., St. Louis, Missouri, in late 1999, where he was employed for 30 years. Mr. Winney is currently teaching at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He serves on numerous boards, including the National Association of Corporate Treasurers, SIUE Industrial Park Board, and Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
